  1. Hey! I saw one of those the other day but couldn't figure out what it was and couldn't find it in my guides. I've never seen one before.

    Just kidding. I know that they are, sadly, extinct and that I'll never see one. Sigh.

  2. John, would you be willing to tell us a bit about where you're finding these beautiful lithographs? Library books? Did you stumble across a rare and valuable find in some old birder's attic? They're beautiful and if on your bookshelf you're one lucky guy! Thanks for sharing!!!

    I don't understand how it is that we can just drill and drill and drill till every last wild place is ruined...

    I hope that the occurance I just read about is one of those 'natural things' that happens from time to time...and that all will be well. Still, I'm supporting Gore's challenge; I hope people know we CAN do it.
